This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents system fluid contact with the pump shaft and features a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The pump includes flush seal line taps for filter installation and pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for service without disturbing the system piping.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is configured for 380V, 60Hz, 3PH power and utilizes an across-the-line starting option. It features a JM motor frame with feet, an AEGIS shaft grounding ring, and operates at 40°C ambient temperature. This unit meets NEMA standards and premium efficiency requirements per MG1-12.55, with a rated PEI of 0.91.
