This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, bronze impeller, and bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a slip-on shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This assembly is rated for temperatures up to 250 °F and includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for service without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 40 HP Baldor Super E Premium Efficiency motor that meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards. The motor is an ODP enclosure with a drip cover, configured for 230/460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with across-the-line starting. It uses a 324 JM motor frame with feet and is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment. The unit features standard CCW rotation. This pump maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.89.
