This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller equipped with a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a replaceable slip-on bronze shaft sleeve to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the pump shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F in clean water. The pump includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. It utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter and a rear pullout design for field maintenance.
This unit is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, configured for 230-460/60/3 PH electrical service. It operates at 1750 RPM and features an across the line starting option. The motor is built on a 213 JM frame style with feet for mounting. This assembly meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is rated with a PEI of 0.87.
