This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction port and a 2-1/2" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 10" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve, incorporating a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. This assembly also includes AEGIS shaft grounding and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and NEMA 213 T-frame. It is configured for 230-460/60/3 power and across-the-line starting. The system is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard utilizing a Woods coupler. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and has a PEI of 0.94. The unit is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and utilizes counter-clockwise rotation.
