This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2" suction port and a 1-1/4" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 6-1/4" nominal diameter stainless steel NSF61 impeller housed within a cast iron casing and cover. The unit includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The pump operates at fluid temperatures up to 250°F. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without removing system piping, and the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts. Flush seal line taps are included for filter installation, and pressure tappings are located on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump is configured with a 5 HP, 3450 RPM TEFC Baldor motor in a 184 JM frame style with feet. It operates on a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit features a 40°C ambient temperature rating and counter-clockwise rotation. This pump maintains a PEI value of 0.92 and conforms to DOE efficiency regulations.
