This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 2-1/2" suction and 1-1/2" discharge, both utilizing ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design that isolates the shaft from the circulating fluid and incorporates an easy-to-replace, slip-on shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The unit is equipped with flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for service without disturbing the system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration assists with self-venting.
This unit operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP WEG motor. The motor is configured with a TEFC enclosure, a JM frame style with feet, and AEGIS shaft grounding. The electrical requirements are 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, and the pump assembly has a PEI value of 0.87. The pump is configured for across the line starting and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
