This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump assembly includes ANSI Class 125 flanges without a wear ring. This configuration incorporates a rear pullout design, a dry shaft construction, and a top center line discharge. The pump also includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump is driven by a 1 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and a 143 JM frame with feet. It is configured for a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply with across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA standards and premium efficiency requirements, including AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit operates at a 40 °C ambient temperature with CCW rotation and maintains a PEI value of 0.88.
