This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge. It utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter impeller, a cast iron casing, and a bronze impeller. The assembly includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit incorporates ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. The pump includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The design features a slip-on shaft sleeve and a dry shaft configuration that prevents contact between the system fluid and the pump shaft.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a drip cover. The motor is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor uses a JM frame with feet and across the line starting. This equipment meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a PEI of 0.92. The unit operates in a 40 °C ambient environment. The rear pullout design permits servicing without removing system piping, and the top center line discharge layout supports self-venting.
