This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the pump shaft and circulating fluid. The mechanical seal includes a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration simplifies piping layouts.
The pump is configured with a 5 HP Baldor TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM. Power requirements are 230/460V, 60Hz, 3PH with an Across the Line starting option. The motor is NEMA standard and uses an 184 JM frame with feet and AEGIS shaft grounding. This model meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a DOE PEI of 0.89. The pump is rated for 40°C ambient temperature and utilizes a standard CCW rotation.
