This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design and is equipped with a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections, as well as flush seal line taps.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP WEG TEFC motor with a NEMA 254 T frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply with across-the-line starting and counter-clockwise rotation. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan and a Woods coupler. This pump has a PEI value of 0.89.
