This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing with a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter and a bronze wear ring. The rotating assembly includes a bronze impeller, a stainless steel shaft, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design and includes pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections for monitoring system performance.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply and features an across the line starting option. It is housed in a NEMA 184T frame and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, with a PEI of 0.86. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. The motor is equipped with AEGIS shaft grounding and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
