This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The construction includes a cast iron casing, a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The unit uses a dry shaft design to prevent the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. It is equipped with a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 250°F. The pump also includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and features flush seal line taps for maintenance.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 100 HP Baldor ODP motor in a 404T NEMA frame. Power requirements are 460V, 60Hz, 3PH. The system is configured for across the line starting and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards, and the assembly has a PEI of 0.93. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA. It utilizes permanently lubricated sealed-for-life ball bearings and functions within a 40°C ambient temperature range.
