This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It uses a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve to facilitate maintenance. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design and utilizes greasable bearings housed within the bearing frame.
The pump is driven by a 5 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 184 T-frame enclosure, operating at 1750 RPM. Electrical requirements are 200V, 60Hz, 3PH, with a 40°C ambient rating. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring. The assembly is mounted on a welded structural steel base that includes an integral drip pan. A Woods coupler connects the pump to the motor, protected by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. This configuration is rated for across the line starting and has a PEI of 0.91.
