This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 10" suction port and 8" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It includes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller with a bronze wear ring. The pump casing is constructed of cast iron. The shaft assembly uses a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The unit features a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft.
The pump operates at 1150 RPM and is driven by a 30 HP motor. The motor is a TEFC, Baldor T-frame model 326, operating on 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power. It features greasable bearings and AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded steel base that includes an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. It uses a standard Woods coupler for the connection between the motor and the pump. This unit meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards.
