This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 7-1/4" nominal impeller diameter constructed from bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. The unit incorporates a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent contact with the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump assembly includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for service without disturbing the system piping.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor Super E Premium Efficiency motor. The motor is configured with a TEFC enclosure, a JM frame style with feet, and operates on 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power. It features an across the line starting option. The motor efficiency meets MG1-12.55 standards, and the pump maintains a DOE PEI of 0.9. The unit utilizes a top center line discharge design to simplify piping layouts and reduce strain.
