This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The assembly includes a cast iron casing and an 11" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller. The unit uses a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve and is configured with a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The construction incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP WEG TEFC motor with a NEMA 256 T-frame. The electrical configuration supports 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power with across-the-line starting. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and a standard Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. The bearing frame features greasable bearings, and the pump has a DOE PEI of 0.92.
