This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 2-1/2" suction and 1-1/2" discharge connections. The pump uses a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve. It incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent contact with the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are provided on the suction and discharge connections, and the unit uses ANSI Class 125 flanges. The bearing frame design includes sealed-for-life bearings and flush seal line taps.
This pump is driven by a 1-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, configured for a 200V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply. It operates at 1750 RPM and utilizes a NEMA 145 T frame. The assembly includes a welded base with an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. It is equipped with AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. This configuration utilizes across the line starting and carries a DOE PEI rating of 0.91.
