This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing and cover with 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge ports utilizing ANSI Class 125 flanges without a wear ring. The pump includes a stainless steel impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter. A dry shaft design utilizes a bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. The unit incorporates flush seal line taps, a rear pullout design, and a top center line discharge configuration.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 10 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, configured in a 215 JM frame with feet. It is powered by 230-460/60/3PH electricity with an across-the-line starting option. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature and carries a DOE PEI rating of 0.87.
