This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a 10" nominal impeller diameter, a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design that isolates the shaft from system fluids, along with flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disconnecting system piping, while the top center line discharge configuration facilitates self-venting and piping alignment.
The pump is configured with a 5 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor that meets MG1-12.55 standards. It operates at 1750 RPM using a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply. The motor is enclosed in a TEFC housing and mounted in a 184 JM frame with feet. This unit is designed for a 40 °C ambient temperature environment with counter-clockwise rotation and across the line starting. The pump is rated with a DOE PEI of 0.94.
