This end suction pump incorporates a class 30 cast iron casing and a bronze impeller to facilitate fluid movement. The unit utilizes a dry shaft design to isolate the stainless steel shaft from the circulating fluid, aided by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. A mechanical seal comprising a ceramic seat and EPT rubber manages fluid containment within the housing. The assembly supports a maximum operating pressure of 125 PSI and utilizes a center-line discharge for air venting.
This assembly operates with a 3 HP Premium Efficiency TEFC motor at 1750 RPM, integrating Aegis Grounding, a 380-460V, 3PH power supply, and a DOE PEI rating of 0.45. The "S" in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
