This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 10" suction and 8" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The unit utilizes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. It incorporates a dry shaft design that prevents fluid contact with the shaft and features greasable bearings within the bearing frame.
The pump is driven by a 30 HP WEG motor with an ODP enclosure, configured in a 326 T-frame style. The motor operates at 1150 RPM on a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. It includes AEGIS shaft grounding and utilizes an across-the-line starting option. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that features an integral drip pan and a standard coupler guard. The system uses a standard Woods coupler to connect the pump to the motor for operation in 40 °C ambient conditions.
