This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction port and a 4" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal containing a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This configuration supports fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The pump design includes a rear pullout assembly for servicing without disturbing system piping, a top center line discharge to simplify piping layouts, and flush seal line taps to allow for filter installation. Pressure tappings are integrated into the suction and discharge connections.
The pump is driven by a 30 HP Baldor motor in an ODP enclosure on a 286 JM frame with feet. It operates at 1750 RPM using a 575/60/3 power supply with an across the line starting method. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards as defined by MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and maintains a DOE PEI of 0.92. The motor frame style includes mounting feet for installation.
