This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter. It includes a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve with a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The casing includes a bronze wear ring and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is configured in a 184 T frame with a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply and supports across-the-line starting. The unit includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring and is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and an OSHA utilizing a Woods coupler. This assembly meets NEMA standard requirements and holds a PEI value of 0.94, meeting premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55.
