This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a maximum temperature rating of 250°F. The pump incorporates a rear pullout design, top center line discharge, and flush seal line taps. Pressure tappings are included on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 25 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and a factory-installed drip cover. It is configured on a 284 JM motor frame style with feet. Electrical requirements are 230-460V/60Hz/3PH, with a 40°C ambient temperature rating and CCW rotation. This unit meets NEMA standards and MG1-12.55 premium efficiency specifications. It includes AEGIS shaft grounding and an across-the-line starting configuration. The pump is rated with a DOE PEI of 0.89.
