This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing with an integrated bronze wear ring. The pump incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The bearing frame includes greasable bearings and allows for maintenance without disturbing the system piping.
This unit operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP, ODP motor from Baldor, housed in a NEMA 213T frame. It is configured for a 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply and utilizes across-the-line starting. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, utilizing a Woods coupler to connect the pump and motor. The product is rated for 40°C ambient temperature and has a DOE PEI value of 0.89.
