This Taco FI Series frame-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. It uses a stainless steel shaft fitted with a bronze shaft sleeve to prevent contact with the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal is constructed with a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. This model is intended for clean water applications and is manufactured without a wear ring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply and supports across the line starting. The motor is built in a NEMA 184 T frame and meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding, CCW rotation, and a 40°C ambient rating. The system is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and features a Woods coupler with an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. This equipment has a DOE PEI value of 0.92.
