This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve. It incorporates a dry shaft design and a bronze wear ring. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and flush seal line taps.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 20 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 256 T-frame. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3. The unit uses a Woods coupler, greasable bearings, and AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base with a drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, and the pump has a DOE PEI rating of 0.93.
