This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction connection and a 6" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, and the design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
The pump operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP TEFC WEG motor in a NEMA 364 T-frame. The power supply configuration is 230-460V/60/3PH. This motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and utilizes a Woods coupler for the drive connection. The unit is configured for across the line starting and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment.
