This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 2-1/2" suction and 1-1/2" discharge ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses an 11-1/4" bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design and is equipped with a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The assembly is rated for fluid temperatures up to 250°F and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor Super E TEFC motor in a NEMA 215 frame. It is configured for 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz power with across the line starting and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and uses a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. This unit is EISA compliant with a DOE PEI of 0.95 and an HI Energy Rating of 5, and it is rated for a 40°C ambient environment.
