This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 6" suction and 5" discharge connections, both equipped with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The assembly incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. Integrated pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP WEG motor with a TEFC enclosure in a NEMA 286 T frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply with across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan, an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, and a Woods coupler. This equipment meets MG1-12.55 Super E premium efficiency standards and has a DOE PEI of 0.94.
