This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction connection and a 2-1/2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design and includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping, while the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts and enables self-venting.
This unit is configured with a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor in an ODP enclosure, featuring a JM frame with feet. It operates at 3450 RPM and requires a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is configured for across the line starting and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment. This pump has a DOE PEI of 0.87.
