This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction connection and a 4" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It is configured with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at 250 °F in clean water systems. The unit includes a bronze wear ring and flush seal line taps. A rear pullout design allows for service without disturbing the system piping, while the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is configured with a 284 JM frame with feet and supports a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. It meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The maximum ambient temperature for the motor is 40 °C. This unit has a PEI value of 0.97.
