This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction port and a 2-1/2" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing with a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve designed to isolate the shaft from circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are provided on the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
The unit is powered by a 3 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, operating at 1150 RPM on 230-460/60/3 PH power. This configuration uses an Across the Line starting method and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The motor features a 213 T-frame and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan and is connected to the motor through a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard.
