This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing. The assembly includes a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve, as well as a bronze wear ring. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250°F. The pump uses a dry shaft design to prevent circulating fluid from contacting the shaft.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 50 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is configured with a 326T NEMA frame and supports 230-460/60/3 power input using across the line starting. It includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and includes a Woods coupler with an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The equipment has a DOE PEI of 0.93 and operates in 40°C ambient temperatures.
