This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge, utilizing ANSI Class 125 flanges. It includes a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable stainless steel shaft sleeve. The sealing system consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The pump assembly utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
This unit operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency TEFC motor, NEMA frame 215. The motor is configured for across-the-line starting and operates on 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz power, with 40°C ambient capability and AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded steel base with an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard guard. It meets NEMA standards and is EISA compliant with a DOE PEI value of 0.89 and a Hydraulic Institute energy rating of 11.
