This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller and a cast iron casing with a bronze wear ring. The pump uses a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal configured with a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This assembly is rated for clean water applications with a maximum temperature of 250°F. The pump features pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and utilizes a dry shaft design.
This pump is driven by a 10 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 215 T-frame. The motor is configured for 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power at a 40°C ambient temperature and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. It includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring and a greasable bearing frame. The pump is mounted on a welded structural steel base that includes an integral drip pan and a standard Woods flexible coupler with a coupler guard. The pump operates at a CCW rotation and has a DOE PEI value of 0.91.
