This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit uses a cast iron casing with a bronze wear ring and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It incorporates a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump is driven by a 2 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 184T frame, operating at 1150 RPM. The motor is configured for a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply and meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards with AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and features a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. This unit is built for a 40 °C ambient environment and utilizes across the line starting.
