This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 4" suction and 3" discharge connections, both utilizing ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The mechanical seal assembly is constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. Gauge ports are provided on the suction and discharge connections for pressure monitoring.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP WEG motor with an ODP enclosure, configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply. It uses a NEMA 286 TS frame and supports across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and features AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is rated for 40°C ambient temperatures and has a PEI value of 0.91.
