This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes an 11" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, paired with a cast iron casing. The unit incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The assembly includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and utilizes AEGIS shaft grounding for electrical protection.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP Baldor TEFC motor with a NEMA 286 T-frame. The power supply requirement is 230-460/60/3. It is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard featuring a Woods coupler. This equipment meets NEMA standard efficiency, premium efficiency standards (MG1-12.55), and has a DOE PEI value of 0.97. The pump is configured for 40°C ambient operation with counter-clockwise rotation.
