This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The construction includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents system fluid contact with the pump shaft. A mechanical seal utilizes a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F in clean water. The pump design incorporates a rear pullout configuration for service access and includes flush seal line taps and suction and discharge pressure tappings.
This pump is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor at 1750 RPM. It operates on 230-460/60/3PH power and utilizes an ODP enclosure. The motor is a 213 JM frame style with feet and provides premium efficiency as defined by NEMA MG1-12.55, incorporating AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit features across the line starting and a DOE PEI rating of 0.87. The pump is configured for a 40 °C ambient temperature and standard CCW rotation.
