This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed from stainless steel. The casing and cover are cast iron, and the unit includes a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design that isolates the shaft from circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump includes a rear pullout design, top center line discharge, pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections, and flush seal line taps.
This unit is powered by a 10 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It operates at 1150 RPM with a 230-460V, 3PH power supply and across-the-line starting. The motor is configured with a 256 JM frame with feet and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature. The pump assembly is configured for counter-clockwise rotation.
