This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing and cover with a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" stainless steel impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent fluid contact and includes flush seal line taps. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 250°F in clean water. The unit utilizes a rear pullout design and a top center line discharge to simplify piping layouts and maintenance.
The pump is configured with a 7-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM. It features a 213 JM motor frame with feet and is rated for 230-460/60/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor meets NEMA standards, incorporates AEGIS shaft grounding, and provides premium efficiency compliant with MG1-12.55. The unit operates in a 40°C ambient environment with CCW rotation. Regulatory performance is defined by a PEI value of 0.87.
