This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction connection and a 5" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller housed within a cast iron casing and cover. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250 °F. Integrated features include pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and flush seal line taps.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 15 HP Baldor TEFC motor. It is configured for a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The motor uses a 254 JM frame style with feet and supports across the line starting. This unit has a DOE PEI rating of 0.92. The pump features a rear pullout design to allow for servicing without disturbing the piping, and the top center line discharge configuration assists with venting and piping alignment.
