This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The construction includes a stainless steel shaft and a bronze shaft sleeve to maintain a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal assembly is composed of a tungsten carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, which supports operation in clean water temperatures up to 300°F. The pump is configured for counter-clockwise rotation and includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring.
The pump is driven by a 40 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a NEMA 324 T-frame. It operates on a 230-460/60/3 power supply and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and features a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This unit is rated for a 40°C ambient environment and has a DOE PEI of 0.94.
