This close-coupled end suction pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller. The design utilizes a dry shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the pump shaft from the circulating fluid, while the seal assembly integrates a ceramic seat and EPT rubber. Pressure tappings are positioned on the suction and discharge connections. This assembly handles pressures up to 125 PSI and uses a slip-on shaft sleeve to facilitate mechanical seal maintenance.
The 20 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operates at 1750 RPM, utilizes Aegis grounding, and accepts a 380-460V / 3PH power supply. The 'S' in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
