This base-mounted end suction pump utilizes a cast iron casing with a bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft covered by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. Engineered with a dry shaft design, the assembly prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft, maintaining pressure capacity up to 125 PSI. The mechanical seal integrates a ceramic seat with EPT rubber elements to manage fluid containment. The casing design provides for center-line discharge to assist with positive air venting and incorporates connection points for gauge ports at both the suction and discharge points.
Powered by a 75 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operating at 3450 RPM, the system includes Aegis grounding and runs on 380-460V / 3PH power. The 'S' in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
