This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a cast iron casing with a bronze wear ring and a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It uses a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes gauge ports at the suction and discharge connections, along with a drain port at the bottom of the casing.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 40 HP WEG TEFC motor with a NEMA 324TS frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply and utilizes across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with a drip pan and features a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. This unit meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump has a DOE PEI rating of 0.95 and operates at a 40°C ambient temperature.
