This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 13-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of stainless steel paired with a bronze wear ring. The unit incorporates a cast iron casing, a stainless steel shaft, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The dry shaft design prevents circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The pump utilizes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for a maximum temperature of 250°F. The casing includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump is driven by a 50 HP WEG TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM on a 230-460/60/3 power supply. It is mounted on a NEMA 326 T-frame and utilizes a Woods coupler with an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The assembly is installed on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan. This motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is configured for across the line starting and has a DOE PEI rating of 0.93. It is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
