This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 6" suction and 5" discharge connections. It uses an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump includes a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. It operates at fluid temperatures up to 250 °F and utilizes ANSI Class 125 flanges without a wear ring. The rear pull-out design allows for service without disturbing the connected system piping, while the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts and supports self-venting. The construction incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor motor. The motor is configured with a TEFC enclosure, a 254 JM frame with feet, and AEGIS shaft grounding. It operates on a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. This unit features an across-the-line starting option and has a DOE PEI rating of 0.94.
