This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit utilizes a 13-1/2" diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. It incorporates a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that eliminates contact between the pump shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal is constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250 °F. The pump features a rear pullout design for servicing and flush seal line taps for the installation of an optional filtration device.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 25 HP Baldor TEFC motor. It is configured with a 284JM motor frame style with feet. The electrical specifications include a 575V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. This unit meets NEMA standards and MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements, with a PEI of 0.92. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature with counter-clockwise rotation.
